When It Rained It Poured

Thoughts are the dim clouds that suspend in the sky
Drops of water filled with secret words falls to the earth and lands on you and I
But we avoid those secret words that would form our true feelings between hellos and goodbyes
But those words will mean nothing of the clouds don't make it storm
However I guess I spoke to soon because it soon stormed
Rain came down hard, clothes drench with words, we were both soaked in them
which should of with no help by weather,
came down, because we rejected to turn the secret words into sentences and form dialog that we should have spoken
In the storm there goes a strike of lightening, earsplitting and thunderous
Our silence about how we feel about each other was destroyed
because feelings that are silent is the loudest sort of noise
But who am I to say that all the condensation that is built up in the clouds are a true prediction
and the whole universe is rooting for you
and you know your the other part to us
And this Stormy Striking Saturday was a day that was made for us
This Stormy Striking Saturday is our truth
And as I write this I realize my pen can't imagine living life on paper without you
While the drops of water fall from the sky
they are our secret words in disguise
We at last form sentences the create dialog
As our lips exchange words, droplets fall from eyes that awaited so long
but all we need was for it to storm and those droplets are drops that our eyes couldn't fight to hold
our thoughts were the clouds and drops of water are our secret words
When it was time to lay everything out on the line
we just need the clouds to make it storm
rain our words so we couldn't keep avoiding and make it downpour
but this time was a chance for us to share our thoughts
and next time we might not get that chance because it might not rain
or if it does rain doesn't last forever and we wouldn't be able to finally
express what we covered
but it choose to rain..
and we are thankful that we were caught up in that weather

because when it rained it poured
