Concentrate (Close attention)

I made sure that I concentrated on every second that I spent with you.
Because I knew that day would come when making you my central focus, would be out of focus.
and it would be hard to see what's in front of us because now its impossible to refocus
Like a telescope having trouble making clarity of the stars
I'm having trouble remembering who you are
Like a shadow with shade
neither of us are illuminated by love because we are apart
Like a space shuttle mission aborted
Our love can no longer travel as far as beyond the moon and the stars
Like trying to combine to wrong sides of a magnet
Our hearts try to rebel each other because we let our pride take over it
our hearts may have become distant.
And conversation may have shorten a bit
And our eyes may not be able to look at each other without turning away quick, with a water filled blink
But I made sure I still pay close attention
Because I have faith in us that those particular points in our past times will be consistent again



...Always have faith in it.
